Participate as a volunteer
Come and volunteer at 🔥THE HEAT 2025 and get a FREE ticket! We only ask that you arrive at 9am and that you can commit 3-4 hours of your time over the course of the day.
Here are five reasons to volunteer at 🔥THE HEAT 2025:
1. Networking with Climate Innovators: Connect with climate-tech founders, researchers, investors, and leaders in groundbreaking fields like fusion energy, carbon capture, and robotics. At our 2024 event, we registered 600+ founders of ambitious climate-tech companies such as Thaleron, Notpla, or Carbo Culture, leaders such as First Light Fusion and Tokamak Energy, investors including Pale Blue Dot and Zero Carbon Capital, and much more.
2. Hands-On Learning: Engage with innovative tech demos, workshops, and sustainability solutions firsthand. At 🔥THE HEAT 2024, our product demonstrations included carbon capture by CyanoCapture, fusion showcases by First Light Fusion and Proxima Fusion, and electric sports cars by Hedley Studios, and we also had workshops from ARIA, DeepSense, Contrarian Ventures, and several others.
3. Inspiring Activities: Participate in film screenings, art installations, and an “unconference” that fosters creativity and collaboration. At our 2024 event, we had the art installation Cold Flux by Ben Cullen Williams that rebuilt the ice caps, a sound meditation space, two DJ sets, the magical soundscape The Bells, and much more.
4. Exclusive Access: Get behind-the-scenes insights into events and exhibitions. As you will only be volunteering for 3-4 hours on the day of the festival, you will be able to experience it both from the perspective of an organiser and an attendee, meaning that you will see some of the mechanics of what makes THE HEAT so special, as well as enjoy some of the fruits of your own hard work!
5. Contribute to Climate Action: Support a festival dedicated to accelerating impactful climate solutions and community building. By supporting logistics, facilitating workshops, and guiding attendees, volunteers contribute to the unique spirit of the festival, and help to empower people with the tools and connections needed to tackle climate change.
